Draft ACT Nature Conservation Strategy

19-October-2012

Dear All

Here is the link to the Draft ACT Nature Conservation Strategy. http://timetotalk.act.gov.au/community-engagements/?engagement=draft-nature-conservation-strategy

What is the Draft ACT Nature Conservation Strategy? Well, as it says itself  “The Strategy is a document for all land management, planning, business and community sectors in the ACT to guide a coordinated and integrated approach to nature conservation. The Strategy will help guide future planning of the Territory’s open spaces, rural areas, urban areas, riverine corridors, and nature reserves, and guide investment of funding and resources.”

The consultation period will run for three months and close on Monday 10 December 2012.

If you’d like a hard copy, get back to me and i’ll send one out to you.

Please send this on throughout the network to everyone you think would like to have a read and maybe some input into the Strategy.

Thanks
